I am not an expert. I would assume that for the heating control, in addition to the room controller and the electrothermal actuator, you still need a heating actuator.

Why is KNX not in the budget? Have you ever had an offer made? It doesn't have to be as expensive as everyone says. It is important to find an electrician who REALLY knows their stuff.

We had an initial meeting regarding KNX, although the electrician is probably not the absolute specialist. For blinds/light/heating, he quoted us around €22,000. You are certainly right that one could consult a specialist here again. Until then, I would still like to know the alternative costs so that I can see if the price differs significantly.

I went with GIRA E2 in anthracite – compared to Standard 55, it’s quite a bit more expensive. But it can get way crazier...

I can control the roller shutters centrally per floor, control each roller shutter individually, have lockout protection on the terrace windows, a light sensor for shading, and also an astro program.

The stuff for the roller shutters cost 1000 euros – actually 500 euros more, but I snagged switches for the upper rooms for 60 euros on ebayKleinanzeigen.
