Utility room planning ideas

Hello everyone,
as with the rest of the house construction, the planning of our utility room now seems impossible to me. Maybe you have some nice solution ideas. We already had 2 carpenters here, both with very different ideas. Details of what we need in the utility room:
- A lot of space for laundry (Here the question: Drawers where you can put baskets stored in the closet seem suitable to me - or is that too unstable?)
- A lot of space for shoes and jackets (Important here: Not complicated to hang on hangers, but as easy as possible for lazy people)
- Best with a small bench for children and a mother with poor circulation ;-)
- Space for a side-by-side
- Floor-to-ceiling closet to slide in a dust mop
We are a family of 5, with 3 small children.
Maybe someone has a good tip for good websites with great ideas or maybe even a custom solution ready.

And now you have only reached two posts in this forum – find the mistake ;-) When reading yourself smart, you should have noticed that there seems to be a causal connection: while the Villariba group lays their project out on the table in an overview and collects so many good tips with the wheelbarrow in record time that some can safely be weeded out, the Villabajo group only lifts the pot lid very briefly and for individual questions, comes back next year and has meanwhile made neither great progress nor read extensively and properly acquired knowledge.

Hello Sol! Oh yes, the first plan is the floor plan representation. The second plan is the "design" from the carpenter. Where it says connection, only the heating circuit distributor has been installed. The electrical box is next to the window. Washing machine connection and dryer are next to the sink. Heat pump and such are housed in another technical room. The left door leads to the garage, the right one to the hallway. Yes, I understand that individual tips are difficult since I come from Villabajo. What helps you even more, a floor plan or a photo? Is there a forum for utility room setup? Or an ultimate recommendation for good systems from an experienced housewife? Best regards

Well, you are in a house-building forum that thrives on floor plan discussions and offers good tips and optimization.
I give you the tip to have your floor plan discussed in the appropriate section with a completed questionnaire, then some problems might be solved, for example if you place the doors correctly, give the room the necessary dimensions, and consider the rest. A house and living in it can rarely be reduced to just one room.
