Hello!
For 2 years, an old development plan has been amended, on which we want to build a house. Ultimately, only an area of 4000m^2 is to remain from the development plan. On this, a maximum of 2 houses (one bungalow, one with a flat roof) may be built.
Now there are no more objections from the public authorities, except for the drainage of rainwater. Laying a pipe is out of the question due to the costs. We wanted to let it infiltrate on the property. Trench drain, cistern, pond, whatever... there is enough space. Unfortunately, the district office sees it differently because of the soil survey (which points out the clayey soil, but does not exclude infiltration of roof rainwater using an infiltration basin). Areas for terrace and driveway could be made without sealing. We could live with that. The water from the roof and garage remains.
Now the last possibility that comes to mind is installing a cistern, whose contents are completely used for the toilet and washing machine. Surely the cistern could overflow at some point and the water would infiltrate the soil.
Who is familiar with this? Could it all work out like this?
