Hello everyone,

we recently built and also had a chimney installed directly. Unfortunately, neither the builder nor the electrician informed us that we need a negative pressure monitor because of our ventilation system.

Now I have ordered the Leda Luc 2 and would like to install it surface-mounted. According to the manufacturer, this is possible. Is there anyone here who has already done this and possibly has pictures of the finished state?

Thank you very much!

So we also have the device. However, not surface-mounted but flush-mounted. And when I look at the instructions, the pictures on the web, and especially the functionality, I don’t know how it could reasonably look if it were surface-mounted. The measuring hoses are screwed to the underside of the control unit. It would probably look strange if they just hung freely like that... For us, it is the version for drywall construction. It worked very well. Sorry, I can’t say more about it.

It is also possible without a pressure switch. This is how we do it. An approval from the ventilation manufacturer (in our case Pluggit) that the system is intrinsically safe, a DIBt approved chimney, and an external air supply.
