Hello everyone,
my name is Achim, I am 40 and live with my wife and children in the house that we are currently extending and renovating. To be able to use the gained living space soon, I have a question that I would like to ask you. I registered here directly because I have already discovered a lot of interesting things about house construction in the forum while browsing.
In the extension, living area with kitchen, on 65m² tiles were laid until 9 days ago. The temperatures have fallen from initially about 14 to now 7°C. We wanted to start the underfloor heating from 11.1. I am now skeptical whether the drying time for the tile adhesive and the joints is sufficient at these temperatures. They could also fall further; the temperature has certainly not stabilized yet.
Should I heat the extension electrically? To what temperature should I bring the room?
I just turned on a 2000W radiator, but I am only worried that it will dissipate ineffectively... Alternatively, I could use fans, but they seem not very useful for regulating the basic temperature. Should I place one or more radiators? Is there a total wattage recommendation for this 65m² room?
Thank you for your advice!
Best regards Achim
