Hello,

Currently, we have underfloor heating including tiles. Now the project is to install parquet here. Can we install parquet at any time or is there anything to consider regarding the underfloor heating?

Regards

Hello,
Parquet, similar to carpet, has a significantly higher thermal resistance than tiles. The heat loss below the heating level increases. Higher flow temperatures and/or mass flow rates are required to achieve the same heating performance. Bottlenecks in the hydraulics may possibly occur.
Overall energetically less favorable.

Therefore, better to have it checked before starting the project.

Best regards
