Hello Der Da,
Sorry, I have to disagree!
The carpet binds the dust, which is why it is indeed suitable for house dust or mite allergy sufferers.
"Borrowed" from daab: "For allergy sufferers, smooth floors are only more favorable if they are cleaned wet very frequently – several times a week – because the dust that accumulates is stirred up more strongly there than with low-pile carpets"
PS: my daughter is, among other things, a house dust allergy sufferer
Rhenish greetings
Morning! The carpet binds the dust.....and then – does it dissolve? Besides, there probably are no dust allergy sufferers – the allergic reaction is based on mite droppings – and for them, such a carpet floor is pure paradise. I could still understand if carpet provided warmth for feet instead of underfloor heating – but the purpose of carpet heating escapes me. After I once saw microscopic images of a used carpet floor, the topic was closed for me forever!
Best regards, Tom.
