Alright, you have pulled me back from my dream world :P I will probably buy an apartment then, because paying rent feels like wasted money to me, or am I wrong on that point?^^
Buying an apartment is not always cheaper. When I think that in our rural area a 75sqm 3-room apartment costs €160,000 and is also in a multi-family house. And you still don't have peace and quiet or real privacy. You just have to know if you want that. There are rental calculators on the internet where you can calculate this. Only if you buy a 3-room apartment and later maybe start a family, it will be too small again. With a house, you are more flexible. And it doesn't have to be as big as you have drawn it.
Depends again. There are many people for whom renting certainly makes sense - spatially flexible, better ability to respond to changing life circumstances, fewer obligations. Alternatively, you can first buy a building plot, pay it off, and then see... that's about the finances. Floor plans take practice ;)
What do you want with a house at 22 years old as a single? Even buying land is nonsense.
Whether an apartment is worth it or not depends on the rents and purchase prices. But there are also plenty of people who say that owner-occupied properties are pure luxury.
I can save €10,000 annually, so I could still live in a rental for 3 years and then maybe do something with €50,000, right? By then I could also find a wife. But I need to know one thing. Build or buy a house?
