Travertine natural stone - costs for 150 m² living area

He is really beautiful. Could the stone also be used for a walk-in shower, or is the water problematic? And in case of accidents in the kitchen, do you have to clean immediately? I haven't dealt with it yet, but I'm instantly in love.

I wouldn’t have wanted it in the shower.. the tiles are porous through and through, meaning they have many small natural holes. These are only sealed during grouting. I wipe away liquids immediately. But I would do that with any surface. We haven’t had any discolorations from "accidents" to complain about yet. In front of the stove, however, I have a bamboo mat that catches splashes from cooking. I don’t know if the travertine withstands grease splashes unharmed.
