Clear answer: YES, DEFINITELY!!!

When on vacation, I always make sure that the holiday apartments have a bidet. My children love to wash their feet in the bidet after a trip to the beach. Short and sweet. You don’t have to go to the bathtub or shower.

Our toilet paper holders are both on the left. So now? My suggestion was serious: reaching across is no problem.

If you really want to renovate and redo everything: it would also be possible to remove the toilet and bidet and instead install a shower toilet in the center.

Outline drawing:

For sufficient freedom of movement at toilets, a minimum distance of 20 cm should be maintained from the side of the toilet rim to the next wall or adjacent sanitary fixture.

At least that's how I remember it. I am planning at least 80 cm.

The plan adheres to the guideline drawing (15cm) 13 cm is too little. Apparently, someone forgot to account for the plaster.

That’s why you end up sitting crooked!
