Hello everyone,

can someone help me? I have problems with my toilet, as it sounds like a garbage disposal during the flush, as if something is being suctioned and then drops loudly down. Also, everything first comes back up and then falls down like in a pit toilet. Depending on that, I often have to flush again to get everything away.

It is a new building from the year 2011. I informed the developer about the defect and he told me that all the plans available to him were properly designed.

Does anyone know what it could be?

Could the waste pipe have too sharp an angle so that there is a backup and therefore everything comes up and then drops down?

Best regards,
Suatss

Could it be that the vent pipe to the [Entlüfterstein] on the roof is somehow blocked or too small? Sounds like your toilet is pulling a vacuum.

Regards
