Hello everyone,
recently we saw a modern house in the new development east of Karlsruhe, which had a bright sheet metal (apparently titanium zinc) instead of a conventional base plaster. The gutters and downpipes were also in the same sheet metal color, and it actually looked quite good. I think it could also look good on our house (light blue exterior color, dark roof and also titanium zinc in the metalwork).
Are there any experiences here with sheets as the base of a single-family house? Is there anything to consider? Presumably, with sheet metal you can be left alone even after 50 years and the base plaster can’t freeze, peel off or whatever. It could also be cheaper?
Let us hear what you think about it.
Many greetings
