From my point of view, that is normal. The rails used in your case are relatively inexpensive. If nothing else was agreed upon, that is also completely okay. We also have such corner cubes like in the picture from . However, ours sit directly on the rails without a gap. This makes it look very nice. The rails and cubes are usually about one corner more expensive.

Our seats are now properly installed. I took the picture above for complaint reasons. After that, it was done properly.
