Hello everyone,

I have renewed all the electrical wiring in the house and now want to work on the Sat system.
My plan is as follows:

four cables per LNB to the basement
From the basement to the rooms

TurkSat, AstraSat, and Thaicom should be received

As far as I have read, TurkSat and AstraSat can be received with one dish and two LNBs.
Is that correct?

What would you recommend for a switch if I have two satellites with three LNBs and want to distribute them in the house?

Wouldn't it be easier and cheaper to do it via IPTV (Türk costs €6.90 per month)? You also avoid the unsightly dishes that way... Regarding the question about one dish and two LNBs, I can't help you.

Yes, you can receive Astra (1a?) and Türksat with one dish and two LNBs, but not with a normal dish. For that, you need a multifocus antenna, which basically has a wider reception range, since the two satellites are about 20° apart. Also, a 9-way (or 13-way) multiswitch is needed, preferably from Jultec.

The Thai satellite is another 40° away and therefore needs its own (large!) dish.

Oh, and please observe grounding and lightning protection, otherwise will climb up on your roof.

With a T90, probably all three satellite positions would be possible.

I have not seen it personally yet. After all, we are talking about a spread of over 60 degrees here! The T90 is specified as 50 °.

The calculator says that it ends at 37° when aiming at Thaicom. However, Astra 1a or 1kr is located at 19.2°.
