Hello,

we have had our old roof including the roof truss replaced. Now the underlay membrane and the battens have been installed. From the inside, you can now see numerous small or larger holes in the underlay membrane. Is this within the tolerance range or does it need to be reworked? If so, how? The roofing, metal, will only be installed next week.

From my point of view, a defect. Such a track must also be overlapped and glued to ensure its function as a "second water-carrying layer" reliably, that is, without leaks. How is that supposed to work with the number of holes?

Or is the metal roof 100% snow- and driving rain-tight?

At first glance, I would also say that this is a defect, as the holes already appear to be quite large.

Holes must be sealed with appropriate tape. Warning, otherwise you will remain in the system and the warranty from the supplier of the [Unterspannbahn] will expire.
