The RIKA insulation block installed in 1993 should be insulated from the outside

In 1993, a so-called RIKA insulation block (similar to Bisotherm or Liaphor stone) was installed in our house. Now the exterior façade in the knee wall area is to be insulated. It is not plastered but has been clad with profiled wood in the Black Forest house style all these years. Can I apply an URSA insulation board onto the stone and attach a Vinylit profile on top, or will the wall then start to sweat? Does anyone have experience?

Depends on how fit the wall is or how hard it tries. It's the same for me when doing sports.

Seriously. From the gut, you can do it. But to be safe, you should either talk to a professional who calculates the dew point for you or alternatively ask ubakus yourself.

I would insulate the knee wall in the same way as the facade below. Or has the roof been raised, previously had no knee wall and only this one is built from this stone?
