Hello,

I bought a large refrigerator that was not cheap. The refrigerator has an ice maker and extra water included. Now the water does not flow properly from the line and it does not cool properly either. I called the company and asked, they told me to call a technician, but I have to pay for it myself. I always thought you have a two-year warranty? Or is that no longer the case! Who knows:confused:

hi fox,

usually you get a warranty certificate for almost every technical device. if i were you, i would look for it. because it also states how long your refrigerator is under warranty.

best regards,
Mara ;)

Hello fox,
Of course you have a two-year warranty. Take a look at the invoice for your fridge, or call the place where you bought it, they can also help you further.

hi,

what comes to mind: whenever something breaks that is under warranty, the whole process is made insanely stressful, sometimes you wait months until you get your device back... should you then possibly wait 2 months to get your fridge back?? I think these warranty certificates are mostly useless! in the meantime, I would just buy a new device anyway.

best regards,
yung

Actually, it is (at least in Germany) legally regulated that the manufacturer must provide at least 2 years of warranty. If errors or damages occur during this period that were not caused intentionally or do not suggest improper use, they must be repaired free of charge by the manufacturer, or the manufacturer must provide an equivalent replacement. However, I do not know how this looks in other countries or if you buy something from abroad.

Best regards

hello, i recently happened to get such a refrigerator myself and checked in my refrigerator warranty booklet. so for me the warranty is 2 years from the purchase date, of course. my refrigerator works perfectly and i always have enough ice cubes in stock. i wish you, dear fox, that your refrigerator will work soon too. i am very happy with mine ;-) .

best regards, rosanne
