The door lock is deeply embedded in the door. Normal?

Hello everyone Today our front door was installed. I noticed that the locking cylinder is installed quite far IN the door. Is that correct? Or did the door manufacturer install a lock that is too short?

Is the security rosette perhaps missing there?

Yes, ask your supplier if he didn't mismeasure the cylinder.

Could be either...either too short cylinder or missing drilling protection.

Something is definitely wrong. You can also look inside at the bottom.... Maybe installed upside down? What does it look like inside?
