The basement was built 11 cm too high

we have found that our basement was built 11 cm too high. In the plans we signed everything was fine, and in the execution plans, which we only received after construction began, the basement is now 11 cm higher. We already have to have a lot of soil filled around, and now it will of course be even more. Can we hope for some "support" from our construction company here?

You should clarify this in a personal conversation with your site manager/architect/provider; the error in the plans serving as execution plans must have occurred somewhere. The question should then be directed there: "how do we come to an agreement?"

It is not only the costs for the additional soil that are at stake, but also the question of whether, with the raising of the building structure by 11 cm, the maximum eave and/or ridge heights are still within the scope of the development plan/building permit.

You should therefore not wait too long with your conversation ;)
