And, what is wrong with that? Which cardinal direction is that? Have you considered that in summer the sun might be more directly overhead?

Hello kbt,
Of course we have considered that the sun is always higher in summer. We just want some shading because our fridge and dining table will be exactly in that area. For this reason, we thought about textile screens since they still let in as much light as possible. However, I found the offer of 3000€ a bit steep, especially without a motor. I just wanted to get some information here to see whether that is reasonable and whether venetian blinds might be a bit cheaper.
But I will get a second offer and then decide.
Saludos

We have just also obtained an offer, but for venetian blinds. Our kitchen window is 257 x 255 with one fixed and one element to open and that is supposed to cost €1240, however without installation. It doesn’t help you 100%, but maybe it’s a rough direction.
