Terrace tiles on pedestal supports?

I'll start from the bottom:
My terrace is on top of the double garage. So concrete. 30cm are missing to reach the level of the exit. I will build that now.
First, a vapor barrier will be installed by a roofer who specializes in flat roofs. Then specially made Styrofoam with an integrated slope will be installed. On top of that, the waterproof layer will be laid. And now I have to decide: Do I lay it about 3cm below the exit and glue the floor tiles onto the Styrofoam, or do I lay it about 10cm below level and lay the tiles on pedestals?
Does anyone have experience with this and can give me tips? Advantages, disadvantages.

I think you shouldn't lay either on Styrofoam. The substrate is not suitable for that. Especially the pedestals would press heavily into the Styrofoam.

Pedestal supports are good. The thing with the Styrofoam is no good. The pedestal supports must be placed on a solid surface or, for example, a protective mat. Gluing tiles onto Styrofoam will not hold either.

The "StyroporW" are EPS tapered insulation boards. They are protected on top with a sealing Mogaplan PXE G 200 S5". If anything, tiles are laid on them. Now I am trying to find the right way for the tiles. Of course, I will still consult a tiler. But perhaps someone here has already had experience with this.
