Hello, I have a question regarding my terrace roof (KD roof, 8m*4m, VSG 10mm, 3 posts). I have measured that the crossbeams (each 4 m) have a sag of 5-6mm towards the center at the front. Is that still okay or do I need to report this to KD? Could it sag further? After rain, there is always about 1 cm of water standing in the middle of both beams. The roof has been standing for 2 weeks. Does anyone perhaps have experience with this? Thanks.

Well, if the canopy has only been up for 2 weeks, I would definitely communicate with the customer about it and not rely on statements here in the forum. My gut feeling says .. probably not concerning, but regarding the point that water is standing there, I would clarify this with the supplier to possibly avoid jeopardizing warranties.

Is there water at the connection point of the two crossbeams, that is, at the middle post? Here, an aluminum plate was screwed on and then smeared with sealing compound. So the area is higher than the rest, causing water to always stand on one side.

The connection point is slightly higher. The water is level in the middle of both crossbeams.

In any case, report and describe the case or your observation. Can you upload pictures for this?

Water must definitely not be allowed to stand on that.
