What do you recommend as a patio door?
Swing door, lift-and-slide door, parallel slide-and-tilt door.

Width: approx. 2 m

How wide would the passage be for the sliding doors with a total width of 2 m?

Hello,

Sliding or also lift-and-slide doors make little sense in my view with a passage width of 2.00 m. Compared to the French door, you reduce your passage width to 1.00 m!

Hello,

I also think that sliding doors don't make sense with a total door element width of 2 m.

Better to have a double-leaf door, as already wrote.

Dirk

A sliding door really doesn't make sense at 2m. We have a 2.50m sliding door and I just measured, the passage with the door fully open is only 1.10m. At 2m I would take a double-leaf patio door.

How about the price differences between [Stulp-/ Schiebe-] and [Schiebekipptüren]? How much more do the sliding doors cost approximately?

I want to have 2mx2m patio doors installed as well. I do have space for French doors, but I find it a bit bothersome that something always protrudes into the room. Are there any other reasons in favor of French doors? How about the price? Thanks in advance
