Dear forum,
an old house is being renovated and given a new extension (developer contract). The roof remains as is. According to the developer, the roof has been inspected and should last at least another 10 years. The new owners' association is not so sure about that.
Now the community is asking what the building authority has to approve in the case of a former single-family house, now divided into several condominiums with the conversion of the attic.
Do they also check the old building, if the attic is now completely used as an apartment, whether it is durable?
