As a rule, you do not have to take out the loan from the building savings contract and can instead have the credit paid out to you. If you then take the loan directly from the bank, the land charge probably has to be removed. That costs a few euros again. Whether it is worth it then depends on the interest rate.

thanks for the hint. How is it with the land charges in general? I am taking part of the debt from the bank and the other part from the building society? Do they both register themselves in the land register?
