Hello,

I am building a passive house with a calculated value of 10.0 (kwh/m²a). I am interested in the devices listed above. Does anyone use one of these devices and can inform me about their practical use? How is the humidity in mid-winter? What is the temperature difference between room air and supply air, for example at -10 °C outside temperature and +21 °C indoor temperature? How loud/quiet is the device, is a silencer necessary? I also came across the RecoupAerator 200Dx, is this device still up-to-date?

Many thanks in advance for your answers!

Regards, Gerhard

hello Gerhard,

I am using the systemair VR400DCV/DE unit - I can say from my experience that I am totally enthusiastic about this device! The VR400 operates very efficiently and is completely quiet (I do not use dampers, the device is not even audible at full power). Since you can freely select the supply air temperature via a reheating coil with this device, I cannot say anything about the temperature difference. One of the deciding factors for me was the price-performance ratio and the affordable filter costs, which are horrendous with some manufacturers, and the device was highly recommended to me by my air agent (who distributes different manufacturers). Humidity in winter not below 37%, averaging about 42% (I estimate).

Maybe this helps you with your decision...

Hello Gerhard,

I have the successor model to the VR 400, the SAVE VTR 300, and I am highly satisfied.
The device has a rotary heat exchanger that recovers moisture from the exhaust air.
With the built-in humidity sensor, the device offers regulated rehumidification.
During the winter months, we always have over 35% humidity, and even at -15°C outside temperature, the device has not gone into frost protection.
At an approximate room temperature of 20°C, I have a supply air temperature of 16°C.
I can warmly recommend the device from Systemair in terms of price/performance.

Regards, Frank
