Dear house building forum,
we have found our property and will move into our new house next year. The purchase of the property was a swap purchase, so the sellers of the house are the buyers of our current apartment. So far so good. Now we are planning and thinking about how a change can best take place, as we still have some renovation measures to carry out in the new house, such as sanding the parquet in the living-dining area and new floors in the bedrooms (currently there is carpet, I have a house dust allergy) and painting.
Do you have any ideas on how to achieve a smooth transition? Does one party necessarily have to stay in a holiday apartment?
Thank you for your ideas and suggestions.
