So, just received an offer from the civil engineering company using KG pipes. Now the question for me is, do I have to pay attention to anything special here? Do already needed empty conduits have to be specified here, or does that happen later, in another phase of construction? So that this is really only about the supply pipes?

By the way, what is a good/fair price for installing the KG pipes? I simply lack the feeling to assess it.

Thanks!

May I ask what they are charging for installing the KG pipes? With us, the construction company just did it, but it was not included in the offer.

just under €310 gross, for 3 KG pipes including 3 wall collars (delivery + installation) and the flexible hose for drinking water (installation only)

But it’s not that much cheaper. On top of that, there’s the sealing and the segment seals. For that money, you can almost get a multi-branch system with less installation effort. But in your area, it seems to be the common option to work with KG. At least now you have a price and know which option it will be.

The topic is not completely settled yet. I am still working on how it will ultimately be sealed and what it really turns out to be in the end.

are not exactly cheap! We installed one here from the company Rabeneick ("non-pressing water") for a single 125mm KG pipe. The thing already cost €120 gross in the plastic version; I did not dare to ask about stainless steel.
