Hello "shade experts"!
We are planning to equip a terrace (see attached picture) with a shading system that should protect not only from the sun but also primarily from "light rain." We place great importance on both features and therefore do not want to purchase a "cheap product."
The requirements are as follows:

[*]The shading element should cover approximately 30m², with a projection of about 6m and a width of about 5m.
[*]The element should be based on a guide rail system. So no awning with swivel arms but a system with rails. We could have 4 glulam beams or aluminum carriers built on site, or even better would be a complete system that already includes the carriers.
[*]It should be in a price range under €8,000.
[*]The product should also be available in Austria.

There is an additional requirement that unfortunately could not be avoided due to the existing conditions. We have, as shown in the picture "Schnitt Terrasse.jpg," a chimney directly on the terrace that extends from the ground floor up to the upper floor (where the terrace is located). This stainless steel chimney pipe (not a masonry chimney) should somehow be mounted on the struts (on which the shading is guided) and secured against wind. The chimney pipe thus also forms the outer boundary of the shading.

Do you have experience with certain brands? Is there a brand you can recommend to us where the quality (price/performance) is right? What features or characteristics should one particularly pay attention to when purchasing? I have heard that the seams on the fabric are often of inferior quality and therefore allow rainwater to pass through very quickly.

We have already looked into the company Hella and the Tenda plus system but have not yet been able to compare it to other manufacturers and are therefore not sure whether the Tenda plus system is good or not.

We would appreciate your recommendations and tips!
Best regards, Luke
