I rather believe that they first say yes so that you sign a contract with them. They want to sell you a house. Browsing through is, in my opinion, unprofessional. A freelance photographer gets about €600-1500 per day. And you come along with "€400 is too expensive" for someone who puts their head on the line...

That is true of course - however, a rough estimate would be sufficient. We do not expect a legally binding statement. Just something so that we know whether it even makes sense to deal with Massiv. We do not want to build with individual contracts but rather the general contractor and their engineers will then have to check accordingly what exactly is involved.

A complete structural analysis for a "typical" single-family house roughly costs 6 to 10 k according to HOAI - so I don't find 400€ too much for an assessment. Offers with hourly rates for engineers in general (so not HOAI/construction) are generally in the range of 90 to 120€, for absolute specialists even daily rates of 2 k and more, so I consider 400 EUR for the assessment of the technical feasibility of a project worth several hundred thousand EUR well spent money.

Drive there, review plans, perform some calculations with fictitious loads (e.g., solid construction versus wood), compile the results and be available for questions, etc.

What do you think, the structural analysis software, the secretary who prepares the offer and invoice, etc. cost?

Pay 400€ to the one who knows the construction and is done.

If it's already about 100€, get ready for the additional costs from the general contractor for building on an old basement.

I am trying to motivate you. I could do it, but would take 800€.... Everyone complains that their services are poorly paid, but when I see this here, I am at a loss for words. If a crack appears somewhere, the structural engineer is the first to be called, no, stop it.

400€
before the house construction - own thread and preferably numerous comparison offers
during and after the house construction - gets lost in the background noise
