Good day,
in the next two days our strip foundation including the foundation earth conductor will be constructed.
However, I am not entirely sure if everything is executed correctly and would like to hear your opinions on this.
The trenches are dug as far as possible. Today the concrete workers laid a dimpled membrane on the bottom of the trench. I think as a blinding layer? Then the reinforcement cages were placed in. The foundation earth conductor was laid as flat steel inside the reinforcement cages and was not connected with the individual cages. Is the lateral connection (there is a dimpled membrane underneath) of the strip foundation, in which the earth conductor is embedded, sufficient for a conductive connection with the ground?
Is there any objection to embedding empty conduit pipes for cables inside the reinforcement cages into the strip foundations?
Thank you very much for your answers.
Regards
