Stench from the sink or siphon - Where does it come from & how to eliminate it?

Did you only clean the siphon?
Please also clean the connection between the strainer valves, the lower parts of the strainer valves,
and also the overflow.
The siphon shown by Siggi is identical to the installed one and everything behind the siphon is usually irrelevant.

I cleaned the whole white thing, so all the white pipes,
the grey one as well as far as possible including the strainer valves.
