Statics and reinforcement of independent structural engineers?

Hello everyone,

we have the input plan from the architect and also the slotting plan from the heating engineer.

Now we are faced with the question whether we should have the structural and reinforcement planning

- carried out by an independent structural engineer? We have an offer of 2,400 euros incl. VAT for both plans.

- include the above-mentioned plans in the scope of services for the tender and have them carried out by the construction companies?

We are already aware that the construction companies also charge for the structural and reinforcement planning and factor the costs in.
But maybe someone has experience with which option is cheaper?
