Standards/Guidelines for Soundproofing

Hello everyone!

Is the statement correct that there are no sound insulation standards and regulations to consider when building a single-family house?

If not, what would a corresponding clause on sound insulation in a construction and service description have to look like??

Hi,

in the construction of a new single-family house, soundproofing is regulated by the specifications in the contract. If no soundproofing requirement is explicitly regulated, the general rules of technology apply.
For a certain standard, you should somehow mention DIN 4109 in your bill of quantities. If you want higher soundproofing requirements to be met, there are the VDI 100 soundproofing levels I-III.
