Yes, exactly! Cool – but why is there a toilet brush in there :D Can you take another photo of the whole staircase from the bottom looking up? Then I could check out the eye wall. But I think it will be quite similar to yours – only that the stair landing is in the hallway and the stair wall is by the front door.

For me, this niche from Manu1976 would be the ideal place for a cat cave or a litter box ;):D

Hahaha. Our tiler also always called it the little cat chamber. And our cat likes to be in there too. But our youngest also likes to hide there. At times it was also the garage for the Bobbycar. And at the moment there are still moving boxes in there and a dresser is standing in front of it.

No. We have a concrete staircase and later - actually pretty much at the end of the shell construction - the niche was built in afterwards.

The niche would be a nice place for a safe (with a cover in front).
