Hello,

how is the space with concealed drawers actually? I am considering whether to take 2 fronts/4 drawers or 4 fronts/4 drawers. Is the space in the usable height of the drawers the same?

By the way, here is my plan

Hello,
I am not sure if I understood the question completely correctly.
If the drawers are arranged the same way, the height is the same. The advantage of inner drawers lies, on the one hand, in a more uniform appearance of the front and the possibility to position the inner drawers at a finer grid in height.

In your sketch, there is a 50 cm and 30 cm wide cabinet. How do you want to realize that with METOD?

Hello Tuxi,

then I am more flexible with concealed drawers, as I can still adjust their height. I hadn't thought of that at all, thanks!

I will cut the 30 and 50 cm cabinets myself. That's no problem nowadays. I cut the top and bottom to size with the circular saw, the holes for the cabinet connectors will be redone, and that's that. The front for the waste pull-out will get an edge band. Since it is on the far right, the edge band shouldn't bother me visually. Since the metal strip obviously doesn't fit, I will replace it with wooden strips.

If it is a smooth front like HÄGGEBY, that is unproblematic. It becomes more complex to change the pull-outs for the cabinet in width, especially because of the drawer back panel.

It should not be very difficult to shorten the metal strip.

Have you thought about what you want to use the drawers in the upper cabinets for? The height in a drawer with a 10 cm high front is already quite low.

Wouldn't it perhaps be more practical to omit the 20 base cabinet and make a 50 base cabinet instead of a 30 one? Then you could use the wall cabinets in the same widths as the base cabinets, which would create a more harmonious look.

The arrangement of the stove and sink is mandatory because of the work sockets. Where the 20 is written, there is a double socket, as well as above the 30 cm waste pull-out. Therefore, on the left is the 80 cm 20 cm cabinet. I may not make it shorter to the left. If I move the stove further to the right, I lose space between the sink and stove. I wanted to have as much as possible there. On the right, in the 30 cm cabinet, is the waste system: , suitable for 30 cm cabinets, I am using the 10 liter / 20 liter system. And I find it better that this is not under the sink. And on the far right, I still have counter space. Personally, I do not find the layout restless, especially since it will also have Veddinge white fronts.
