Do these panels then have to be built as a drywall in front? Or just stick them on, plaster, wallpaper and that’s it? Sorry for such stupid questions. But I am an absolute layman.

Ideally, you sacrifice a bit more space. Screw on profiles, acoustic insulation, and then GK sound insulation boards. Fill, sand, and paint

Just pull them out forward. Works well in drywall construction.
