Hello,
I used Floorplanner 3D for my single-family home. You can play around quite well to get a feel for it without needing an architect right away.
Positive:
- Easy and intuitive to use
- Fast results
- Most features free of charge. Once you are a bit experienced, you can also spend a few euros to make life easier.
- Suitable for modeling a house.
Negative:
- Multiple objects on [Grundstück] not possible. You can only save several floor plans.
- Output of drawings is not really possible.
- Precise measurements not possible.
Once we were basically satisfied with the floor plan, we drew it old-fashionedly on paper and planned in more detail. In the end, the architect simply redrew it.
