Hello everyone,

short notice we were considering boxing in our kitchen in EL into a drywall partition.

The wall behind it will be a reinforced concrete wall for which we now need to determine the location of the sockets, etc.... ideally yesterday... grr

Can someone possibly tell me what the minimum length as a drywall partition would be?

Currently it is 50cm which is too large for us. Spontaneously we had set 20cm.

Honestly, despite Google, we don't really understand it and don't want to make a mistake.

Thank you very much in advance and have a nice weekend

Do you mean length (height), width, or depth of the drywall?

Uh, well the width... currently 50 cm wide until the start of the cabinets... we wanted it smaller, approximately ±20 cm... hence the question about the minimum

Minimum would be the minimum profile width, that is 30mm + 1x gypsum plasterboard (12.5mm) = 42.5mm

Exactly about this width (minimum), with you 8cm, that was the point :-)

Thank you both
