No one makes a layout plan for the laundry room
Today we installed a pull-out dryer for the small laundry that can’t go in the dryer. Also a folding rod where you can hang hangers if needed. Then I want to add a wall cabinet above the floor heating distribution box for detergent and some cleaning supplies.
We have been living in our house for almost 1 1/2 years, there are more important things, but now time is being invested in this too. And now you can see where space was tight.

The furnishing plan is not the execution plan.

Of course, it is good if you directly plan where the ironing board, laundry baskets, and drying rack will find their places.
Most people only plan their two appliances...

My husband had already noticed before that the space might be a bit tight. And I came across it through the other thread.

We can now either make the room 20-30cm wider or place the parts in front. But then it will be tight with the sink, and the platform cannot be that high because of the window, which we would also have difficulty accessing.

A 35cm platform sounds great, we currently have 15 and you hardly notice it. What are your platforms made of? Built-up?? Concrete?
I will simulate it again and then decide.

What exactly do you mean by the pull-out dryer? Is that something like a clothes rack but mounted on the wall?

What do you think about stacking the washing machine and dryer? Then the dryer would be at a convenient height, and there would be more space left for cabinets & co.?
