Single-family house with KfW55/controlled residential ventilation or Energy Saving Ordinance standard - experiences and opinions?

Anyone who thinks/says that simply has never lived in a house/apartment with forced ventilation and just doesn't know what they're talking about. Simply put: The central systems are all quiet. After all, these are residential ventilation systems, not commercial systems for restaurants or shopping halls. With decentralized and also pure exhaust systems, the situation is of course somewhat different.

Regarding noise levels: We have a central ventilation system (combined unit with heat pump) and I can't say that I have ever noticed it outside of the technical room. When you stand in the utility room, you can hear the ventilation. When you close the door to the hallway, you can't hear anything anymore. And I've never heard the outlets/exhausts in the rooms. Even at night in the bedroom when it's quiet, not at all. But our system also regulates down to level 1 there. Also in the evening while bathing, you don't hear anything in the bathroom even though the exhaust is on. I've even held my hand in front of it a few times to see whether it's even running.

That really isn't much compared to the subsidy..

For us, that would be an extra 14,500 euros from the Energy Saving Ordinance to KFW 55 and the central controlled residential ventilation another 6,000 euros.

We will build according to the Energy Saving Ordinance including central controlled residential ventilation.

Since we are going to build with a gas boiler and not a heat pump, your apparently very quiet system is unfortunately not an option for us, but I will continue to look for possible stand-alone controlled residential ventilation systems that are as quiet as possible.
