Hi self-builders community,

are these U-values good or rather not so good for our new 110sqm single-family house?

Exterior wall: Lambda 0.09 W/mK
Ceiling attic: 0.17 W/m²K
Roof: 0.17 W/m²K
Floor slab: 0.24 W/m²K
Front door: 1.8 W/m²K
Windows: 1.06 W/m²K

What would be the usual category you would roughly be classified in with these values? KFW 100, 70, 55, or 40?

Good evening,

What are you hoping for, or what has your provider promised you?

Rhenish regards

Good evening as well,

I know that the KfW is not really meaningful when it comes to the actual heating costs, the provider confirmed a Kfw55 for us with these values.
However, that does not necessarily mean that it is "well" insulated, so I am hoping for some comparative values, in other words, whether I am doing quite well or if the insulation leaves something to be desired despite the "KFW 55 package."

How do you come to the first statement about the actual heating costs?
For me, it was always that with e.g. 55, you only consume 55 out of 100 energy for that house.
Your house supplier guarantees you KfW-55, or you order it... in the end, does it not ultimately not matter how the values break down?

Hello,

aside from the fact that it would be more than careless to give an answer based on the following data

I would - subjectively - tend to classify these data as a normal single-family house according to the Energy Saving Ordinance.

This would - in my experience - only work with the appropriate technology and only to the extent that it is subject to a reliable calculation.

Which heat generator did your provider promise you in the offer/contract?

And btw. - as a supplement to my post - the above values say nothing about the final efficiency value of the single-family house. But - if your provider has assured you "in writing" to deliver a KfW 55 efficiency house, he is also obliged to do so.

Rhenish greetings

Since a KfW 55 house was ordered turnkey, it is of course assured in writing ;-)

Heat generator:
Gas condensing boiler: Viessmann Vitodens 300
System control: Vitotronic 200
Solar 5 sqm: Vitosol 200-F
Solar storage: Vitocell 100-W 300 liters

Technology:
Gas condensing boiler with solar for hot water
Underfloor heating in all rooms
Decentralized ventilation Lunos e² with 90% heat recovery

To explain the statement about KfW and effective heating costs again:
The primary energy demand depends on the chosen heating system, so you can artificially "beautify" it by, for example, calculating with a pellet stove.

That the house is insulated like a standard Energy Saving Ordinance cabin is, of course, not so cool for me :/
