Hello,
we are in the final stages of planning our single-family house and one topic is currently occupying us: Is a niche of 2m length as a wardrobe with a suitable depth of about 65cm sufficient?

For how many people?

Shoes, coats, umbrellas, footstools for putting on shoes, mirrors, school bags, strollers, mail racks, shopping baskets, scarves, shoes, hats... Guests also like to have some space.

Mmh...of course it depends a bit on your habits. Personally, I consider 2m to be the minimum. 50cm is for everyone. You just haven't hung any guest coats there yet. And the question is whether only "seasonal goods" hang there or all year round. Shoes? Include them there as well...2m can become too short.

How much space do you currently have? How many jackets are hanging there now, how many shoes, bags, scarves, etc?
