Side entrance door (plastic or wood) in the carport

Hi everyone,

I am currently building a double carport and would like to install a side entrance door on the side wall.

Either a simple wooden or plastic side entrance door, available at the local hardware store for 100-130 euros.

Does it actually not matter whether it is installed to open inward or outward? Or are there things built into such doors like seals or fittings that must not face outward, meaning they must not be exposed to the weather?

The side entrance door is supposed to go into a carport, a CARPORT... who would break into the carport through the side entrance door in the wall that leads into the garden (and it’s only there to go from the carport into the garden or vice versa) when it’s open at the front???

I mean: at first read I also thought: Carport with door on the side wall? Huh? Does it have a storage room in the carport or a door from the house into the carport? "Side entrance," because the "main entrance" would be the front door, that would make sense. But €100 door on the house?

The note about the hardware store doors: as if it didn’t say "opening inward/outward" on them. Or is now an inward-opening door supposed to be installed opening outward, or what exactly is the question here?
