Shower enclosure glass on eBay

I commissioned the local glazier. It wasn’t that expensive, but custom-made and really high quality.

Please also state the price and the size. I got one for the granny flat from eBay that works. 1x1m 8mm toughened safety glass for 200 euros.

Take a look at a post about you. ;) The price naturally includes delivery and installation - and minus VAT to almost half after the income tax return.

Of course, glass from the carpenter is more expensive than from the glazier. I no longer remember the price from 2001 for a shower enclosure, but the glazier was as cheap with installation as the hardware store without – and that with significantly better quality of the fittings.

Before I drill holes in my tiles for a cheap door, I decided on something of higher quality. I can say it was worth it. Very good adjustment options, custom manufacturing including the height (I needed 190 so that the presence detector works). It became a folding shower door with a lift-and-lower mechanism from HSK. Price 1200€, so not exactly cheap but the thing has to last.

I had taken a cheap one from eBay for my first renovation, but it was a whole shower cabin..... catastrophe. I still regret it to this day. Today, I would either inquire with a brand provider (Schulte) or a glazier (we had various mirrors custom-made) who were not excessively expensive for the size...
