Should wall cover plates be painted with a primer or not?

Hello experts,

I am in the process of laying new wall capping slabs and partially painting old existing ones as well.
So I would like to paint the new and old slabs uniformly. The joints are planned to be sealed and painted with OTTOSEAL M360 hybrid sealant.
For the wall capping slabs, I mixed Caparol Muresko as paint and for the base, I mixed Caparol Sylitol Finish 130. For the base (2mm textured plaster) I was recommended Caparol Sylitol RapidGrund as a primer.

How and with what should I now prime, coat, or possibly even omit the primer for the wall capping slabs?

Pictures of the new and old slabs are attached to illustrate.

I would be grateful for tips and experiences.

Thank you for your help!
