Hello everyone,
6 days ago, a 6 cm cement screed was laid in my garage and covered with foil. The garage is locked at the doors, the gate, which has not yet been delivered, is covered with a tarpaulin. Air can escape all around through the still open roof box. The screed installer said the longer the foil stays on, the harder the floor will become – 14 days would be good.
After the screed under the foil has set nicely over the past few days and the foil had slight moisture on the underside, this is now no longer present. Should I water or moisten the screed afterwards and then cover it again?
Best regards
