Of course, by doing so you would have deprived yourself of the opportunity to present this nicely provocative remark.
I certainly include myself in that; in some things I’m a nitpicker and in others I couldn’t care less. Example: I’m happy that Graywacke stones in our hillside reinforcement, along the access path, and the various small walls and steps visibly bear fossils. At the same time, I have a gravel driveway with very visible tire tracks. Gravel proves not to be the first choice on the steeper parts of the driveway, and in case of doubt I have to pull a delivery van up with the tractor. I laugh at myself for that — and my wife laughs at me too. Such little things can be taken with humor, it lifts the mood.
