As 'lastdrop' correctly answered, there are no problems after 5 years ... provided there were none to begin with and they were not fixed. There is either a development plan or § 34 applied at the time. A building description does not necessarily have to exist; alternatively detailed tender documents + documentation during construction via architect in individual trade contracts or notarized contract when buying through BT. Whatever you decide, do it _without_ being too influenced by the favorable offer. Find an expert with a focus on existing buildings and inspect the property with him. Only when his expertise is available should you decide. Rhineland regards

Maybe they were also naïve customers who really bought a pig in a poke? Bought as seen or something like that

I agree with Bauexperte: Without the expertise of a [Sachverständiger], I would not buy this house. The money should be invested in every existing property!

Thank you very much for the answers!

No ventilation system is not a disqualifying criterion for me, so we will now be more specific with the seller. My further questions are rather in the legal field, which is why I have opened a new thread in the corresponding forum.

The expert will of course definitely be consulted before signing.

Regards
