Hello, I bought a new oven. Can you connect these things yourself or is it too dangerous for inexperienced people and I’d better get an electrician. Maybe someone has a tip for me.

so honestly: if you have never done something like this before, and as you yourself say: "inexperienced," then I would really advise you to have this done by a professional! it is really dangerous!

best regards, Mara ;)

Hello,

You can connect an oven yourself, but then you should also have some knowledge. In your case, I would advise you to have the oven connected by a professional. Safety first :)

I would like to point out once again at this point that most accidents occur in one’s own apartment or house. And this often happens precisely because people do things like connect a stove and don’t really know what they’re doing. In this case, it should be worth the money for you to let a professional handle the job.
Best regards,
yung ;)

Hello yung,

You are not wrong when you say that most accidents happen at home in one's own apartment. However, I also pointed out that if she cannot do it, she should get a professional to connect the oven.

Hello!

So I strongly advise you to get a professional. It is not safe to handle three-phase current (I assume it is three-phase - 400V?). A professional simply has the necessary experience and the required measuring devices (Duspol etc.).

Especially when you use 3-phase, it is important, for example, that you have a 3-pole fuse. If you don’t have that and you make a mistake and only one or two fuses blow, your stove / oven can be damaged.

So, get a professional ;-)

Best regards

Nico
